投訴信：表達(dá)寫(xiě)信人對(duì)某一情況不滿。所有投訴信的共同特點(diǎn)是最終要求收信人幫助解決問(wèn)題。如果題目設(shè)置了解決方案，考生一定要將它寫(xiě)進(jìn)去;如果題目沒(méi)有設(shè)置解決方案，考生就應(yīng)當(dāng)在信中給出自己的解決方案，而且所提出的解決方案應(yīng)當(dāng)是與投訴的內(nèi)容相關(guān)，對(duì)某一點(diǎn)不滿就針對(duì)某一點(diǎn)提出解決方案。
寫(xiě)作策略：
首段：說(shuō)明與收信人的相關(guān)性，表明寫(xiě)作意圖，在盡可能的情況下做到客觀禮貌，給讀信人留下好印象，并且始終牢記讀信人未必就是錯(cuò)誤的責(zé)任人，他的合作對(duì)問(wèn)題的解決至關(guān)重要。
主體段落：寫(xiě)明投訴的原因，要展開(kāi)說(shuō)明，可以說(shuō)具體的理由和由此帶來(lái)的后果 (現(xiàn)象結(jié)果說(shuō)明法)。這樣展開(kāi)就使信件的內(nèi)容顯得充實(shí)豐滿，也符合正常的交際習(xí)慣。
結(jié)尾段：提出解決方案，不需要展開(kāi)，做到公正公平。此段應(yīng)該體現(xiàn)書(shū)信的禮貌原則，應(yīng)當(dāng)有類似的“如您能……，我將萬(wàn)分感謝”的話語(yǔ)。這也是投訴信最能體現(xiàn)禮貌原則的地方。

I am writing to inform you that I wish to move into a new room next term. I would prefer a single room, as I find the present sharing arrangement inconvenient.
I must explain that the reason for my dissatisfaction is my roommate’s inconsiderate behavior. First of all, his friends are constantly visiting him; what is intolerable is that he regularly holds noisy parties. In addition, he sometimes borrows my stuff without asking me.
