年畫

　　中國人在慶祝傳統(tǒng)新年時(shí)，有貼年畫(New Year pictures)的習(xí)俗。這在宋朝的史料中有所記載。廣大農(nóng)村尤其流行這個(gè)習(xí)俗。

　　在新年來臨之際每個(gè)家庭都忙于往門、窗戶和墻上貼彩色的年畫或剪紙(paper-cut)。傳統(tǒng)的年畫是用簡單清晰的線條和明亮的色彩描繪出繁榮的景象。

　　同時(shí)，年畫還可以美化居家環(huán)境，增添節(jié)日的喜慶氣氛，為家人帶來幸福和歡樂，表達(dá)了民眾向往美好生活的愿望。
