　　TV Dating

　　Recently, TV dating shows produced by some of China's provincial satellite TV stations have become very popular. With the success of Jiangsu Satellite TV's "If You Are the One", some other TV stations have been making their own dating programs. These programs have generated debate among the viewers.

　　最近，中國(guó)一些省衛(wèi)星電視臺(tái)制作的電視相親節(jié)目已變得非常流行了。隨著江蘇衛(wèi)視的“非誠(chéng)勿擾”的成功，其他一些電視臺(tái)已在制作他們自己的相親節(jié)目。這些節(jié)目在觀眾中引起了一些爭(zhēng)論。

　　Some audiences think that these programs may have a bad effect on young people. They are worried about the money worship showed by a few female participants. Watched by millions, one female participant from Beijing once rejected a suitor by saying that she would rather cry in a BMW than smile on a bicycle. Some other audiences support these programs. They hold that no TV shows can fully reflect social reality and that the money worship of a few participants does not represent mainstrearn Chinese society. People daring to express their love values in public should be considered as social progress.

　　一些觀眾認(rèn)為，這些節(jié)目可能對(duì)年輕人造成壞的影響。他們對(duì)有些女性參加者的拜金現(xiàn)象有所擔(dān)憂。在上百萬(wàn)人的觀看下， 一位來(lái)自北京的女性參加者曾經(jīng)拒絕了一個(gè)追求者，她說(shuō)寧在寶馬車(chē)?yán)锟蓿�也不愿在自行�?chē)上笑。其他一些觀眾支持這些節(jié)目。他們認(rèn)為沒(méi)有電視節(jié)目能完全反映社會(huì)現(xiàn)實(shí)，幾個(gè)參者的拜金現(xiàn)象不代表中國(guó)社會(huì)主流。人們敢于在公眾面前表達(dá)他們自己的愛(ài)情觀， 應(yīng)該被視為社會(huì)的進(jìn)步。

　　In my opinion, the popularity of the TV dating programs can be employed as an opportunity to advocate positive values of love and marriage. After all, most peopledisapprove ofthe idea of money worship. (184 words)

　　依我看來(lái)，電視相親節(jié)目的盛行可以被用作倡導(dǎo)積極的愛(ài)情觀與婚姻觀的機(jī)會(huì)。畢竟，大部分人都不贊同拜金的觀念。
