　　1.守時(shí)的人的做事方式;

　　2.不守時(shí)的人的做事方式;

　　On Punctuality

　　Punctuality means observing regular or appointed time . A man who gets up at six o'clock every moming is punctual. A man who promises to call on a friend at five o'clock in the aftemoon and actually does so at that hour is also punctual.

　　守時(shí)的意思是遵守規(guī)定的或約定的時(shí)間。一個(gè)人每天早晨都六點(diǎn)鐘起床是守時(shí)的。一個(gè)人承諾了要在下午五點(diǎn)鐘給朋友打電話，實(shí)際上他在那個(gè)時(shí)間也這么做了，那么他也是守時(shí)的。

　　The unpunctual man, on the other hand, never does what he has to do at the proper time. He is always complaining that he finds no time to answer letters, to return calls, or to keep appointments promptly.

　　另一方面，不守時(shí)的人，從來(lái)不會(huì)在合適的時(shí)間做他應(yīng)該去做的事。他總是埋怨沒時(shí)間準(zhǔn)時(shí)地回信、回電話或遵守約定。

　　Undoubtedly, unpunctuality is harmful. Getting up five minutes later than usual may upset the plan of the day. Calling on a friend five minutes later than the appointed time may cause unexpected trouble to both sides. Failure to be punctual is a sign of disrespect towards others. If a person is invited to a dinner but arrives later than expected, he keeps all the other guests and the host waiting for him alone. This is great impoliteness. Moreover, habitual unpunctuality leads to indolence and even failure in life. (170 words)

　　毫無(wú)疑問，不守時(shí)是有壞處的。比平時(shí)晚五分鐘起床通常會(huì)擾亂一天的計(jì)劃。給朋友打電話比約定時(shí)間晚了五分鐘可能會(huì)給雙方帶來(lái)意外的麻煩。不能做到守時(shí)是對(duì)他人不尊重的標(biāo)志。如果一個(gè)人受邀去吃飯，卻比預(yù)期的時(shí)間晚到了，他讓主人和其他所有的客人都在等他一個(gè)人。這是非常不禮貌的。此外，習(xí)慣性地不守時(shí)會(huì)導(dǎo)致生活中的懶散甚至失敗。
