四六級考前閱讀突破第七講：猜測詞義

四級考試中考察生詞詞義的題目還是較普遍的。我們知道一個(gè)詞的詞義分為詞典意
義和語境意義，四級考試中考察的主要是后者-語境意義。

在解答這類問題時(shí)，我們有以下8種方法：
1． 通過上下文中對生詞的定義和解釋猜測詞義，如or, that is, i.e. , refer...
to, as等
2． 根據(jù)生詞前后的舉例，推測
3． 根據(jù)對應(yīng)關(guān)系猜測詞義
4． 根據(jù)常識
5． 根據(jù)比較聯(lián)系猜測
6． 根據(jù)not, but, however, on the contrary等反義的詞來推測。
7． 根據(jù)上下文重述來猜測。（同位語，定語）
8． 根據(jù)構(gòu)詞法（前綴，后綴，合成詞）
