CET6六級(jí)級(jí)作文范文:Do Pop Stars Deserve High Rewards ? 流行音樂(lè)明星應(yīng)該得到高獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)嗎?

It seems that pop stars today enjoy a privileged style of living. Wher ever they go, thousands ofpeople turn out to greet them. T he crowds go wild trying to catch a brief glimpse of theirsmiling, colour fully-dressed idols. Stars are surrounded by their managers, press-agents, andoften by their bodyguards. Photographs of them appear regularly in the press and all theircomings and goings are reported, as stars are news. They must constantly avoid meetingcrazy fans, particularly teenagers who idolise them. Some people say that stars are no longerprivate individuals, but public property. The financial rewards they receive for this sacrifice isincalculable.

Is it right that the stars should be paid in this way? It's all very well for people engaged inmany other professions to envy the successes and rewards of these stars. However, those whomake envious remarks should remember that the most famous stars represent only the tip ofan iceberg. For every famous star, there are hundreds of others struggling to earn a living. Aman who at tempts to become a star is taking enormous risks. He knows at the outset thatonly a handful of competitors ever get to the very top. He knows that years of concent ratedefforts may be rewarded with complete failure. But he knows that the rewards for successes arevery high indeed, and if he achieves the goal, he certainly earns them.
