2003年4月“水平英語（二）”串講資料(語法)

1. propose, command, request, desire, insist, require, decide, promise, arrange, ask, move, consent, determine, recommend, advise, intend, beg, resolve決意¸ argue爭論, maintain主張，deserve值得提及，prefer, decree裁決，vote, urge, instruct命令指示，advocate提倡，persuade, dictate命令，appoint命令，provide規(guī)定，specify指定，persist, permit, petition請愿，stipulate規(guī)定等意念動詞，祈使動詞或態(tài)度動詞后的賓語從句中，謂語動詞用 should + 動詞原形。

注意：當(dāng)suggest是暗示，表明, insist 是堅決認(rèn)為時

He insisted that he was not involved in the case. 他堅持認(rèn)為自己同那案子牽連。

When asked why he declined our invitation, he suggested that he was not on good terms with the director.

2. advice, demand, order, necessity, resolution決心, pay, decision, proposal, requirement, suggestion, idea, recommendation, preference, request, plan, motion等名詞后的主語從句和表語從句中的謂語動詞 should + 動詞原形。

3. 虛擬語氣用在

important, necessary, imperative, natural, urgent, essential, appropriate, desirable, insistent, obligatory, probable, vital, advisable, better, keen preferable, possible, incredible, funny可笑的，pitiful可惜的，deplorable可悲的，imperative迫切的，resolved決心的，eager, anxious, concerned, ridiculous可笑的，unthinkable, 以及短語 no wonder, a pity, not right 等可以構(gòu)成 It is + 形容詞（名詞） + that 句型， 其后的的句子用 should + be.

注意：It is amazing(add, strange, surprising, wrong, astonishing, inconceivable, a pity, a shame, a thousand pities, to be regretted), I am surprised(sorry)和I regret 等后的句子中should 不可以省略。

4. however 后直接加形容詞

5. 形容詞前加the 成為名詞。

6. the + 職業(yè)’s ,the tailor’s , the barber’s, the photographer’s.

7. They generally go abroad for their holidays, but this year they are staying at home. 進行時表示一反常態(tài)。

8. 現(xiàn)在進行時：和他人有約在前，打算很快要做的事情。

9. What are you doing this evening? I am staying at home.

What are you thinking about? You look rather worried?

I was doing my homework before I went to bed. 一直在做謀事。

10. would rather(情態(tài)動詞) do sth.\ have done (對過去)。

Would rather (虛擬) (that) had done（對過去）\ did (對現(xiàn)在)

11. 到裝，

Everything taken into consideration, his plan seems to be more workable. Weather permitting, we’ll go there on foot.

13. 表詢問，希望，要求+ of ， want , ask, inquire, demand, require, expect
