【答案與解析】
1. didn’t do。行為動詞的一般過去時改為否定句時，在行為動詞前加didn’t，然后加行為動詞改為原形，所以在did前加didn’t，并把did改為do。
2. How heavily。將how代替形容詞或副詞前的very, quite等，并將“how+形容詞或副詞”移致句首，其他部分不變。
3. What did, do。對動詞提問就是問某人做某事，即用what…do提問；此句是行為動詞的過去時，所以在主語前加did，改asked改為原形ask，變?yōu)橐蓡柧洹?P>
4. How soon, will。問某事在多久之后才會發(fā)生或結(jié)束用how soon來提問。
5. light enough�？捎谩靶稳菰~A+enough to do”把“too +形容詞A的反義詞+to do”來改寫為同義句。
6. didn’t go, until, return。其中not…until…意為“直到……才……”，return=come back。
7. If you, you will。“祈使句+and / or+陳述句”句型中的祈使句就相當(dāng)于一個if引導(dǎo)的條件狀語從句。注意：改寫時因為前面用了連詞if，后面的連詞and / or要去掉。
8. too, to。因為too…to…意為“太……而不能……”正好與前面的意思相吻合。另外，改寫后的句子也可說成The text is so difficult that I can’t understand it.
9. what to do。當(dāng)以疑問詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句的主語與主句主語或賓語相同，且賓語從句中的謂語動詞是將來時態(tài)或含情態(tài)動詞時，可用“疑問詞+不定式”改為簡單句。
10. if, had。將一般疑問句的直接引語改為間接引語，就是將其改為一個以if(是否)引導(dǎo)的賓語從句。賓語從句要用陳述句語序，主句中的謂語動詞是過去式時，賓語從句的謂語動詞也用過去式。
