Father’s Love

My father is of this kind. I remembered once I felt ill. Mother wa ’t at home at that moment. Father acted as a father and as a mother as well. When he came home from work, he would cook di er for me first. The way he fed me made me think of my kind and tender mother. His eyes were full of love and expectation. I did feel a father’s love at that time.
A Foolish Act in My Childhood---
I did many "foolish" things in my childhood. This is one of them. When I was eight years old, my uncle came to see my parents with some beef one day. The a ealing smell of the beef made my mouth watering. But uncle told me that little kids shouldn’t eat beef. If they ate, they would soon become real cows! I was so scared that I dared not eat it at the di er.But it really attracted me. So after he left, I put a little piece into my mouth. After that, I began to regret. I just waited to be changed into a cow. Mom came and asked me what had ha ened. I told her all about that. She laughed and said that uncle just joked with me. It’s not true!Since then, I made up my mind not to be so credulous. I should believe in myself.
A "Foolish" Act in My Childhood
My dad bought a computer when I was five years old. I could draw pictures and listen to music on it. But once, the computer was down suddenly. My dad told me that it might be attacked by computer virus. I was so scared that I asked dad anxiously, "Did it get a flu? Did it need some medicine?" But dad laughed and said smilingly, "Don’t be silly, son. No medicine can cure a computer virus. It’s a problem of program." I didn’t understand what my dad said at that time. But I made up my mind to study hard and to be a computer expert in the future.
A Visit to Gloden Hill
Yesterday my friends and I went to Golden Hill, the biggest park in our hometown. When we entered the park, we were surprised to see so many flowers. They all fully blo omed. We walked along the riverside, enjoying the charming view. Fishes in the water were swimming freely.
The most interesting thing was to climb the Golden Hill. It was not too high, but it was difficult to climb. We mounted it after twenty minutes. We looked at the city from the top of the hill. What a beautiful city it was! There stood countle tall buildings. Many cars were ru ing along wide treets. The Yangtze River was pouring to the east. White clouds were just above our heads. We really had a good time that day.
My Little Pen Pal--
My Little "Pen Pal"
I met a girl called Sue on the Intemet. We are of the same age. And we talked ha ily with each other. So we decided to write to each other daily, of course through e-mail. We can write down what we feel and what we think and then forward to each other. We also try to write in English. She once lived in the United States with her parents, so she can eak native English. In this way, we are getting closer and closer. And furthermore both of our English has improved quickly and greatly. How nice it is to have a "pen pal" !
