　　今晚，是在一個殖民地贏得它自主權(quán)200多年之后，我們來到這里，不斷前行

　　Tonight, more than 200 years after a former colony won the right to determine its own destiny, the task of perfecting our union moves forward.

　　這主要是因為你們堅信這個國家能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)永恒的希望，實(shí)現(xiàn)移民想的夢想，我們是一個大家庭，我們共同以一個國家，一個民族奮斗。

　　It moves forward because of you. It moves forward because you reaffirmed the spirit that has triumphed over war and depression, the spirit that has lifted this country from the depths of despair to the great heights of hope, the belief that while each of us will pursue our own individual dreams, we are an American family and we rise or fall together as one nation and as one people.

　　Tonight, in this election, you, the American people, reminded us that while our road has been hard, while our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back, and we know in our hearts that for the United States of America the best is yet to come.

　　我要感謝每位參加這次選舉的人，不管你是從第一天就投票了，還是一直等待了很長的時間才投的票。當(dāng)然了，我們要解決這個排隊投票的問題。不管你是自己上門投的票，還是打電話投的票，不管你是投了給我，還是投給羅姆尼，你的聲音都被大家聽到了，并且你對我們國家做出了某些改變，剛剛我跟羅姆尼通了電話，我祝賀他在這個艱難卓絕的戰(zhàn)役當(dāng)中所取得的勝利。

　　I want to thank every American who participated in this election, whether you voted for the very first time or waited in line for a very long time. By the way, we have to fix that. Whether you pounded the pavement or picked up the phone, whether you held an Obama sign or a Romney sign, you made your voice heard and you made a difference.

　　I just spoke with Gov. Romney and I congratulated him and Paul Ryan on a hard-fought campaign.

　　我們這場戰(zhàn)役是十分激烈，但是這正是因為我們深愛著這個國家，并且我們十分在意他的未來。從羅姆尼整個家庭，孫子輩，孩子輩，整個家庭都獻(xiàn)給了美國，這種精神我們將永遠(yuǎn)銘記。未來這幾周我也希望和羅姆尼一起來討論怎么樣使我們的國家不斷前進(jìn)。

　　We may have battled fiercely, but it's only because we love this country deeply and we care so strongly about its future. From George to Lenore to their son Mitt, the Romney family has chosen to give back to America through public service and that is the legacy that we honor and applaud tonight. In the weeks ahead, I also look forward to sitting down with Gov. Romney to talk about where we can work together to move this country forward.

　　I want to thank my friend and partner of the last four years, America's happy warrior, the best vice president anybody could ever hope for, Joe Biden.

　　如果沒有他，今天我就不會站在這里，如果沒有20年前跟我結(jié)婚的妻子，今天我就不會站在這里。我要跟大家說，michelle，我比以前更加愛你，我更加自豪，因為我看到全國人民也十分熱愛你這位第一夫人，我感到十分自豪。

　　And I wouldn't be the man I am today without the woman who agreed to marry me 20 years ago. Let me say this publicly: Michelle, I have never loved you more. I have never been prouder to watch the rest of America fall in love with you, too, as our nation's first lady.

　　對我的女兒，兩位女兒，你們一天天在成長，你們成為了兩位向你們的媽媽一樣的淑女、美麗，有才華，我也為你們感到驕傲，但是目前我覺得給你們養(yǎng)一條寵物狗就夠了。

　　Sasha and Malia, before our very eyes you're growing up to become two strong, smart beautiful young women, just like your mom. And I'm so proud of you guys. But I will say that for now one dog's probably enough.

　　我還要感謝我的競選團(tuán)隊和志愿者，他們是歷史上最棒的。他們是最好的，最棒的，而且是史上最棒的。有些人是第一次來聽我的演說，有些人四年前就聽了我的獲勝演說，但是每個人對我來講都是我的一分子，不管你做了什么，不管你去了哪里，你一定會記得我們今天晚上所創(chuàng)的歷史，你會一生都感激今天晚上的時刻，而且你們會一直記得有一個心懷感激的總統(tǒng)，我要感謝你們所做的每一件事情，正是因為有了你們，我才會一路堅持下來。我對此將永遠(yuǎn)感謝，不管你做的什么，你們所做的一切我都心懷感激，并且永遠(yuǎn)鳴謝。

　　To the best campaign team and volunteers in the history of politics. The best. The best ever. Some of you were new this time around, and some of you have been at my side since the very beginning. But all of you are family. No matter what you do or where you go from here, you will carry the memory of the history we made together and you will have the lifelong appreciation of a grateful president. Thank you for believing all the way, through every hill, through every valley. You lifted me up the whole way and I will always be grateful for everything that you've done and all the incredible work that you put in.
