On many campuses, it has become a prevalent phenomenon for colleges to hold various lectures. Meanwhile, a host of parents or teachers encourage and advocate college students to attend these lectures to gain a favorable position in academic learning. Taking a look around, we can find a great many lectures like this: lectures about job-hunting, cet-46 and so on.

A number of individuals prefer or favor holding lectures. In their eyes, these wide opportunities will enhance students’ over-all development and competitiveness, because lectures by famous professors will enrich their knowledge and broaden their horizons. Then, holding lectures calls for less time, energy, and money; however, the result of learning is always as satisfactory. Then, what excites many teachers is that students’ academic learning may be affected positively by much extra-curriculum information.

By and large, I am convinced that the advantages derived from lecures far outweigh our expectation. Without them, it is impossible for students to have more opportunities to cultivate their ability and acquire knowledge. Therefore, , students are advisable to attend these lectures.

On many campuses, it has become a prevalent trend for students to rate on teachers' teaching. meanwhile, a host of educational experts or professors encourage or advocate universities to carry out this policy. Taking a look around, we can find a great many colleges like this.
A number of individuals prefer or favor this system. In their eyes, this new experience will enhance colleges’ over-all development and competitiveness, because this practice will stimulate teachers' motivation and enthusiasm. Even so, others hold a different view that this practice may carry some risks. First, rating teachers calls for more sensible attitudes; however, the quality of rating is not always as satisfactory as expected. Then, what worries many teachers is that teachers' normal teaching may be affected negatively by students' irrational rating.
By and large, I am convinced that the advantages derived from this rating system far outweigh the disadvantages. Without this, it is impossible for students to have more opportunities/rights to express their ideas on teaching. However, students are advisable to rate teachers in a sensible way.
